Nova Scotia’s Over Sea Real Estate Management expands into Newfoundland
As summer travel plans begin to heat up, Nova Scotia’s premier vacation rental management firm, Over Sea Real Estate Management Inc, is checking Newfoundland off their bucket list. Finding the right partner for their expansion into Newfoundland has been a long-time goal that owner, Jordan Hipson, has been working towards throughout the pandemic.
St. John’s, Newfoundland-based FabStay Accommodations owned by Emilie Bourque, has been hosting vacationers from near and far for seven years at the company’s properties. Established in her community, Bourque is known for being a caring relationship-builder and connector, something Hipson values in a partner.
“Today marks an important milestone for both companies. With our established reputations for offering extraordinary accommodations, partnering with FabStay allows us to offer a wider range of options expanding into Newfoundland,” says Hipson. “We’ve long admired Emilie’s vision and reputation in the St. John’s market and are excited to combine our teams to help expand the Over Sea brand and services across Atlantic Canada.”
While Over Sea has acquired FabStay’s client roster and brand from Bourque, both brands will continue to operate as before, with the deal providing the additional support, credibility, exposure and expertise necessary to provide the best service to their clients. Bourque will seek business development opportunities in the St. John’s area as FabStay by Over Sea’s Portfolio Growth Manager, with Kate Porter, Over Sea's Director of Guest Operations based in Nova Scotia, overseeing the St. John's operations team.
